Their international medical insurance plan is underwritten by LAMP Insurance Company Limited which is licensed by the Chief Executive of the Financial Services Commission of Gibraltar under the Insurance Companies Ordinance to carry on insurance business.
Lamp is a member of the Association of British Insurers, the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. Under the relevant EU Directives LAMP Insurance Company Limited is licenced to write insurance business on a services basis in the United Kingdom. Lamp re-insures through Lloyds of London.
